BioDM2 Project: Artificial Intelligence for the Prevention of Type 2 Diabetes.
Trainingym has received a grant from the State Research Agency (AEI) of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, amounting to more than 1,000,000 €, within the framework of the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2021-2023. The main objective of this project, called"BioDM2", is to develop an artificial intelligence prototype that allows the early prevention of type 2 diabetes through personalized exercise and nutrition strategies, thus improving the quality of life of people at risk.
The project, led by the ReceDxT Chair at the University of Granada and globally coordinated by Trainingym, is a collaboration between several leading entities such as Fundación Vithas, SANO-LIDERA and other members of the ReceDxT Chair. Together, we are creating a public-private innovation ecosystem to drive scientific knowledge in the healthcare sector, with the goal of reducing healthcare costs and promoting physical well-being.
The ultimate goal of BioDM2 is to implement an AI engine that facilitates early detection and optimizes the health of at-risk populations, positioning Trainingym as a leader in technological innovation within the fitness and health sector.

An incentive has been received from the CENTER FOR TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION E.P.E (CDTI), of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, for an amount of 328,135.70€, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Grant awarded on July 30, 2020. Call for Grants from the Center for Industrial Technological Development for the financing of innovation and internationalization (2016-2020).
Research, design and development of a predictive model of casualties in sports centers.
An incentive has been received from the CENTER FOR TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION E.P.E (CDTI) of the Ministry of Science and Innovation, for an amount of 386,042 Euros, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The main objective of the project "RESEARCH, DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A PREDICTIVE MODEL OF LEAVEMENTS IN SPORTS CENTERS" is to launch a new product to the market that will allow us to continue to be at the forefront of technology in the fitness sector, increase our turnover and position ourselves in new markets.
The ultimate goal of the project is to develop a service that is able to identify the leakage of customers so that sports clubs, sports centers and gyms can anticipate it through measures and actions customized for each member or user of the club, sports center or gym.
Start of work on 11/05/2020 and end of work on 30/06/2021. Call for the grant: Aid from the Center for the Development of Industrial Technology, E.P.E. for investment to promote the growth of innovative companies (2021-2023).
Innovation and transfer of new technologies applied to sport in vocational training (TICS DEPORTIVES FP).
An incentive has been received from the SECRETARÍA GENERAL DE FORMACIÓN PROFESIONAL del Ministerio de Educación y Formación Profesional, for an amount of 20.000€. The project "INNOVATION AND TRANSFER OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES APPLIED TO SPORTS IN VOCATIONAL TRAINING (VET SPORTS TECHNOLOGIES)".
Grant awarded on December 17, 2021. Call for grants for the implementation of innovation projects and applied research and knowledge transfer in vocational training.
Commercial optimization for clients of sports centers based on Artificial Intelligence (OCDIA).
An incentive has been received from the PUBLIC ENTITY EMPRESARIAL RED.ES of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation, for an amount of 804,867.88 Euros, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The mainobjective of the project "COMMERCIAL OPTIMIZATION FOR CUSTOMERS OF SPORTS CENTERS BASED ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (OCDIA)" is to provide sports, and especially the world of gyms, with new technological tools specially designed to meet the needs of athletes, people who perform physical activity, and sports centers.
Call for the grant: Resolution of the EPE Red.es, M.P., of September 1, 2021, calling for the 2021 grants for research and development projects in artificial intelligence and other digital technologies and their integration in value chains.
